The offshore 28 was designed to use diesel sterndrives and was considered by some to be the first of its kind. This boat however, has been modified and is now powered by an 125hp outboard engine. A specially designed bracket has been fabricated to facilitate the outboard motor to the transom. This outboard motor has never been used.
