She is a all-steel welded mid-water trawler with a raked stem and a transom stern. The vessel has a steel shelterdeck which totally encloses the main deck and the 6 fish holds each have trunkings which run upwards through this shelterdeck to the working foredeck above. There are two gantries aft of the wheelhouse which carry the trawl wire sheaves and there are also two net storage drums below the bridge deck aft which are hydraulically driven. The two hydraulically driven main trawl winches are situated just forward and below the bridge inside the shelterdeck space. The forward deck extends from just forward of the wheelhouse to the raised forecastle. The hydraulically driven anchor windlass for the single anchor is situated on the forecastle and also has a warping drum on the side for mooring the vessel. The wheelhouse is situated aft over the engine room and the accommodation is situated above the engine room. There are two hydraulic cranes on the vessel. The one is a knuckle boom crane fitted forward on the main deck and it is hydraulically driven with a lifting capacity of 1.5 tons. The other hydraulic crane is fitted aft of the wheel house with a lifting capacity of 2.5 tons and it is used for handling the trawl sheaves on the two gantries.
General
The vessel can carry 48 tons of fuel, 10 tons of freshwater and 4 tons of lubricating oil and hydraulic oil.
The six holds can each carry approximately 50 tons of fish in refrigerated seawater which gives a total RSW carrying capacity of 300 tons.
